The interdisciplinary conference SPACE, PLACE, OBLIGATION, which will interrogate the relationship between artist practice and Irish identity/residency, will take place at Maynooth University on 15th September 2018.Speakers include plenaries Garrett Carr (Queen’s University Belfast) and Catherine Morris (NUI Galway), artists and sculptors, Laura Fitzgerald, Katie Watchorn, Paul Gaffney, Mollie King, and Kerry Guinan, sound artist Seán Ó Dálaigh, dramatist Kate Heffernan, filmmaker Rouzbeh Rashidi, and writers Selina Guinnessand Nathan O’Donnell.
