The Great Famine and Social Class: Conflicts, Responsibilities, Representations. 20-21 April 2017, Queen‘s University Belfast

Proposals are invited for papers which examine the causation, incidence and legacy of the Great Irish Famine in contexts of class relations, from a variety of (inter)disciplinary perspectives.
The organisers invite the submission of conference abstracts up to 350 words. Papers should not exceed 20 minutes. Abstracts can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org, before 12 December 2016. Please also include a 100-word biography. Proposals for three-paper panels are also welcome.
Junior researchers are strongly encouraged to send in a proposal, as there will be a fee waiver for postgraduates and early career scholars whose paper is accepted.
