As you know, our dear association has a long history of promoting Irish culture, literature, and history in Spain, which we celebrated recently in our annual conference, in Vitoria.
My deepest gratitude to the former presidents and the outgoing board members. Their dedication, vision, and hard work have built a strong and lasting legacy that has truly shaped AEDEI. We have also achieved a great positioning of our journal Estudios Irlandeses, thanks to all its editorial teams. I would like to convey my heartfelt gratitude and admiration to them for helping build such a prestigious academic standing. I am also deeply grateful to the board members for stepping up to guide our next chapter.
Our goal is to build upon this strong foundation. Together, we will expand our academic reach, support early-career researchers, and strengthen our national and international connections.
I look forward to working closely with all the AEDEI community to shape a vibrant future for Irish Studies.
