Dear AEDEI members,
The Irish Studies Circle at the University of Granada is once again launching the International Seminar on Irish Studies; this 8th edition will be celebrated on the occasion of St. Brigid’s. Among the numerous talks and activities that will take place, we would like to draw your attention to some of them: the launch of the critically acclaimed Yeats Sisters Exhibition by the Irish Ambassador to Spain, literary readings by renowned Irish authors Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin and Deirdre Sullivan (sponsored by the EFACIS Irish Itinerary), and numerous sessions with the recognized traditional musicians Louise Mulcahy, Matt Cranitch, Caoimhe and Éimhear Flannery. We will also have various workshops on Irish dance and Irish language, and a musical-dancing performance by the UGR Ceili Band in Granada. We here attach the programme of events and some posters announcing these cultural activities.
